Christian Young has joined the DeAngelis Diamond team as General Counsel. He will provide legal counsel for the company’s innovation, technology and data analytics intellectual property. Christian will also advise on all negotiations for Construction Management, Program Management, Design-Build, IPD, subcontractor and all other agreements, as well as collaborating with Operations, Risk Management and Talent teams to identify risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
A native of Newton, Massachusetts, Christian began his legal career in Boston in 2007, where he served as Assistant District Attorney to the South Boston Division and most recently as Assistant General Counsel for Suffolk Construction Company, Inc.

Christian has years of experience advising on the development and execution of new technologies and pilot programs within the construction industry. Over the past 11 years, he has partnered with corporate executives negotiating and drafting business and legal terms for construction management, design-build contracts, IPD and subcontracts. Christian is also a seasoned trial attorney and has managed all aspects of complex construction, product liability and general liability litigation.
