davis house happy quilt
The Davis House Child Advocacy Center and the Cumberland Valley Quilters Association has worked in collaboration to create the Happy Quilt, with squares drawn and decorated by local children.
The children who created the quilt receive services at the Davis House, such as community education and prevention of child abuse. Students who perform service work at the Davis House also contributed to this work of art.
This quilt will be auctioned during the Davis House Legacy Ball on Saturday, March 5.  This year’s Legacy Ball Davis theme is “Dancing for the Stars-The Children of Davis House.” The event will include a wine reception and silent auction beginning at 6:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm at Embassy Suites in Cool Springs. The gala event raises funds and awareness for the services and programs Davis House provides to child victims of sexual and severe physical abuse.
