Dailey & Vincent Team up with Nashville Symphony


Known as the  “Rockstars of Bluegrass,” Dailey & Vincent has been hailed throughout the music industry as one of the most exciting, reputable and elite Bluegrass bands in America. Having won numerous awards for their uniquely contagious and riveting music, this unstoppable multi-Grammy-nominated and Emmy-nominated duo plays over 100 shows per year including stops at legendary venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Grand Ole Opry, and Ryman Auditorium. Their latest album release ‘ALIVE! In Concert’ hit #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass charts for 15 of its 18 weeks, while the accompanying DVD debuted at #2 across all genres behind the Foo Fighters.

In addition to traveling on the road they also  also play host to their own national television music series, The Dailey & Vincent Show, which is about to kick off its second season on RFD-TV. With over 1.2 million viewers per month, their show has featured world-class celebrity guests such as Vince Gill, The Oak Ridge Boys, Tanya Tucker and many more.

But there is one thing in Nashville that haven’t done until now. Actually this event will take place on Tuesday,April 12th at the Schermhorn where Dailey & Vincent will perform with the Nashville Symphony.

We spoke to Jamie Dailey asking about this upcoming performance.

“We have performed with symphonies in other cities so we really worked to make it happen here in Nashville.  It will be our first time as Dailey & Vincent to take the stage with these talented musicians.”

For this upcoming show Dailey said you can expect their entire band which consists of  Jeff Parker,Aaron McCune, B.J. Cherryholmes,Jessie Baker,Buddy Hyatt,and Shaun Richardson.

“We are very excited about this opportunity. It will be a little different for as we will not be able to improv and we will have to follow the music to keep everyone in sync. But it will be a great show.”
