CycleBar Franklin, an indoor stationary biking gym on Carothers Parkway, is holding a charity ride at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, to benefit the Summers family, three brothers whose parents perished in the Gatlinburg fires.

Brandon and Wesley Summers remain hospitalized with burns said to require skin grafts. Brother Jared has been released from the hospital.

CycleBar is inviting members of the community to come out and participate in this ride for $25 each, which will be donated to help the boys get back on their feet

“We have been hearing the difficult stories of many families from the Smoky Mountain fire devastations,” CycleBar posted on its web page. “Please come ride your heart out for The Summers. The three young adult boys were caught in the fires with their parents. Jon and Janet were unable to make it out. The boys have a long road ahead of them both emotionally and physically.
