In a peaceful valley, located just one mile from downtown Nolensville, lies the new community of Benington. In January of 2013, ground was broken and Barlow Builders, Grove Park Construction and DAC Custom Homes began building in this master planned community. Along with half-acre lots, Benington offers treed homesites, sidewalks, underground utilities, a community pool and more.
With an area of 7.44 square miles, USA.com reports that Nolensville is the fourteenth fastest growing city in Tennessee, with a population of 6,131 in 2010-2014. It has reportedly grown 97.84 percent since 2000. In addition, its median household income has grown during that same period by 48.56 percent, to $102,982.
With the increased population, Nolensville is attracting more services, shops and restaurants, making it a hot area in which to live — yet a location in which you still get “more bang for your buck.” Lorraine Mineo, Realtor with Barlow Builders says, “You’ve got half-acre lots where custom builders are building in a neighborhood that if buyers went to Brentwood, they would have to spend $80,000 to $100,000 more for a custom home.”
“You’re not too far out from Brentwood or Franklin. And if you work in Murfreesboro or downtown it’s still a convenient location,” adds Mineo. “You still have great Williamson County schools.”
Phase III is currently under construction at Benington. When completed, the neighborhood will consist of 92 custom built homes.
