After closing a shop in the Target shopping center on Old Hickory Blvd in Brentwood last year, IveyCake is reopening a Brentwood location.
“We are so excited to announce our return to Brentwood this fall,” store owner Ivey Childers posted on the IveyCake Facebook page Wednesday. “We will soon make our home sweet home next to the Perch on Franklin Road.”
Last week, the Brentwood Planning Commission approved the cupcake-and-treats store owner’s plan, as Ivey Childers gained approval to open a location at 117 Franklin Road.
The new location is next to The Perch, and in the old home of Skinbar. Skinbar is moving from their Franklin Road location to 7110 Town Center Way in Brentwood.
IveyCake currently has a location in downtown Franklin on 4th Avenue North, next to Franklin Mercantile Deli.
IveyCake’s creations have made national news, being featured on the Food Network’s Guilty Pleasures show and appearing in “People Magazine” and “Country Weekly.”
