CPA remains undefeated after a 45-16 win against Marshall County Friday night.  The Lions are now 9-0 overall and 4-0 in the Class AA-12 district.

Quarterback Jay Hockaday and Zack Weatherly, certainly, jump-started the night making plays on the field.  Hockaday had three TDs for the night, and Weatherly jumped in, connecting with Thomas Richard for a touchdown early on in the night.

The Lions will take a bye-week this next week and take on Cascade (6-2, 2-2) for their final regular season match-up next Friday.

Hockaday mentioned at the Vanderbilt game against Milan that it was just one more step to the play-offs and the state championship.  And that is exactly what the Lions have done.

The bye-week will give CPA the chance to gear up once again to play a tough competitor.  If the Lions can win this last match-up they will end up with a perfect season heading into the play-offs.
