Five rushing touchdowns by four players helped Christ Presbyterian Academy to a 35-point, first-half lead, and the Lions cruised from there in a 44-7 dismantling of Knoxville Webb on Friday evening.
Quarterback Ryan Eledge threw for a touchdown and ran for one, and Andrew Madden had two first-half rushing scores for CPA (10-2).
CPA led 14-0 at the end of the first quarter on rushing touchdowns by Kane Patterson and Sam West.
Madden added another rushing score for CPA in the second quarter.
By half, that score was 35-0 as Madden added another score, and Eledge also had a rushing touchdown.
