Christ Presbyterian Academy’s Kane Patterson had four touchdowns, as the Lions easily defeated Franklin Road Academy by a 42-19 score in the final regular season game for both teams on Friday night.

CPA led 28-7 at half, as Patterson had 13 carries for 146 yards and three scores before the break. He’d finish with 151 yards on 14 tries.

Patterson added two solo stops on defense for a CPA defense that held FRA’s high-powered attack to 227 total yards.

The Panthers’ Eric Stoxstill-Diggs found Riley Speed for a 67-yard touchdown pass for FRA’s only first-half score.

FRA added fourth-quarter touchdowns on a 17-yard Watson Tansil rush, and a 5-yard Brogan Wilson run.

But the Lions held the speedy Stoxstill-Diggs to minus-6 yards on eight carries. The FRA senior was 10-of-21 for 110 yards through the air.

The Lions’ Sam West added eight carries for 48 yards and a touchdown for CPA (8-2, 4-0 in the region), and also had five solo tackles on defense.

Tansil led FRA with 81 yards on nine attempts.

CPA, the winner of Division II’s Middle Region, faces Christian Academy of Knoxville at home next week.

FRA will host St. George’s in the playoffs on Friday.
