Christ Presbyterian Academy’s Kane Patterson ran for two scores and quarterback Ryan Eledge threw for three, helping the Lions to an easy 44-7 first-round TSSAA playoff win over Christian Academy of Knoxville.
Patterson ran seven times for 137 yards and caught a pass for 16, adding three tackles and a sack on defense.
Eledge was 7-of-13 for 164 yards, and ran four times for five more. Five completions went to Noah Henderson, who caught 120 yards of passes and scored twice.
CPA led 38-0 at half.
Christ Presbyterian (9-2) hosts Knoxville Webb, which beat Chattanooga Christian by a 42-21 score, next Friday.
A pair of Patterson’s touchdown runs helped the Lions to a 21-0 first-quarter lead. The other CPA touchdown was a pass from Eledge pass to Brett Nabors.
A 15-yard Elege pass to Noah Henderson made the lead 28.
William Horne led CPA with five total tackles, four being solo.
