In addition, Lewis, Mason, and senior libero Bryn Bostad were selected to the district all-tournament team. “Although this season held some unique challenges for the team, we saw a lot of growth in areas on and off the court. Camden Central brought a strong unit of players to the elimination match, and we commend them for a great, advancing win. I am proud to coach this group and look forward to building on the progress we made next season,” says Head Coach Alex Young.

The varsity girls and boys golf teams both finished TSSAA A-AA State Runner-Up at the state championships on October 14, 2015, at the Willow Brook Golf Club in Manchester. Junior Siarra Stout also secured her second consecutive girls individual state championship title.

“Even though we didn’t win the state championship this year, I would still consider this season a success. We established a standard of excellence our players sought to achieve each day in our practices and matches. Finishing as state runner-up only reinforces our work ethic and belief in how we try to build our program and schedule to make sure our players are playing the best competition.” Boys Varsity Head Coach Kevin Maggard stated, “I love our guys and how much they poured into their practices and matches in order to try to win another State Championship.”

In addition to fine team tournament performances, two of the boys varsity players, Senior Grayson Davis and Junior Luke Zieman, were selected to play in the prestigious Tennessee Junior Cup.
