Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach Brandy Gagliano is leaving her position to accept an appointment with the Tennessee Soccer Club Association.

Gagliano led the Lions soccer team for eight seasons, and has compiled an overall 115-43-20 record. Seven of Gagliano’s teams competed in the state tournament, winning the state championship in 2012.

“There are many reasons why my decision to resign has been so difficult for me.  I have always pictured myself coaching at Christ Presbyterian Academy forever.” Gagliano stated. “I love this place and what it stands for, and I love all of the people who make CPA so great. Every time I come to campus, it feels like home to me. CPA has always been and I hope it always will be my family.  CPA has helped me grow both as a coach and in my faith.”

CPA Athletic Director Mike Ellson states “Coach Brandy Gagliano has been an outstanding mentor for the athletes at Christ Presbyterian Academy, and we will miss her influence both on and off the field. She brought excellence in how she taught the game of soccer, and her teams gained respect in how strong they would finish a season.”
