Drew Maddux, Head Basketball Coach for Christ Presbyterian Academy began a new program this summer that is causing a social media frenzy.
In wanting to teach his basketball summer camp students perseverance, he created what he calls  “Shots of the Day.” These shots are challenging, to say the least, and often take more than one attempt.
Maddux’s goal was to teach his students that  ‘practice makes perfect.’ The students have suggested some pretty challenging shots. Just yesterday, Maddux sunk a basketball from the  top of the Omni Hotel into a basketball goal below. According to Maddux, this is the highest shot made in Nashville history.
We’ve included some of his most impressive shots on social media over the summer.
