Corner Pub in Franklin is a great place to grab lunch, dinner or just a drink. You’ll feel right at home as soon as you walk in the doors. Corner Pub is one of those ‘sit wherever you like’ kind-of places that offers great food, good service and a fun atmosphere. Their menu is an array of all American comfort foods, like steak & biscuits, burgers, salads and they even have a ‘Meat and 3’ option available Monday-Friday until 8p.
Before you delve into the entrée’s, try one of their starters, like the cheese dip, with jalapenos and green chiles. If you’re a burger fan, you really must try one of their burgers. Be warned, you’ll have a hard time choosing from their list, ranging from Shroom & Swiss to Smokehouse to ‘The King’ (a massive cheeseburger, with 9 oz of fresh beef and all the toppings). One of my favorites is The BBB Burger, a perfectly cooked burger with bacon and bleu cheese served with home made chips.
Corner Pub is a great place to unwind after work, meet up with friends, grab a beer and catch a game on one of their big screens. Their wide selection of beer will satisfy any customer. Corner Pub is also a great place for families. Unlike other restaurants, where the kid’s menu might be limited to a sandwich or macaroni and cheese, Corner Pub offers kid’s yummy plates like spaghetti and catfish. Each kid’s meal also comes with a free popsicle!
And don’t forget dessert! You can go simple with just a single scoop of vanilla ice cream or splurge. Try their Brownie Ala Mode (warm brownie with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce) or the Chocolate Toffee Blondie (warm brownie shaped cookie with almonds, toffee and chocolate chunks topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce).
You’ll always find something fun going on at Corner Pub, like Team Trivia on Monday nights or Bingo on Tuesday nights. They even give you clues to Trivia questions via their Facebook Page.
