Cool Springs Set to Receive Hilton Homewood Suites

Homewood Suites by Hilton

That big, empty plot of land located at the intersection of Carothers Parkway and East McEwen Drive is set to be the new home of a Hilton hotel. It will open it’s doors in June of 2015.

Right off exit 67 of Interstate 65, the new Hilton Homewood Suites was granted a $13 million permit from the city of Franklin. According to Adam Sichko of the Nashville Business Journal, the planned project will be built eight stories tall and hold 145 rooms. Southland Constructors, located in Brentwood, will lead the construction of the site.

There are already three Hilton Homewood Suites in the greater Nashville area, one in Midtown, downtown and near the Nashville International Airport. Cool Springs will gain another hotel chain, along with having a Hilton Garden Inn on 9150 Carothers Pkwy and an Embassy Suites located on Crescent Centre Drive.

Homewood Suites by Hilton are an American chain of all-suite residential-style hotels with more than 310 hotels and 75 currently in development. This year, Homewood Suites has been recognized as a J. D. Power 2014 Customer Champion.

“To qualify for inclusion on this elite list, companies must excel, not only within their own industry, but also among the 9 industries included in the Customer Champions analysis by J.D. Power. To determine the J.D. Power 2014 Customer Champions, J.D. Power examined five factors, including: People, Presentation, Process, Product, and Price,” states their site.
