Fourth generation baker Sandy Long, Founder of International Dessert Group, Inc. heads across the country to present Gone Cupcaking!, a hands-on experience where people participate in a 90-minute cupcake decorating class that teaches the fundamentals of designing gourmet cupcakes in large groups.
Gone Cupcaking! will be at CoolSprings Galleria on August 22, 2015. The event will be held on the lower level in the center court area. Chose from four different sessions as the Gone Cupcaking’s Team of Decorators will teach techniques for decorating to include creating cupcake borders, icing flowers, cupcake filling, cupcake piping methods as well as creating gourmet cupcake styles. The sessions will take place at 11:00, 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00. Cost to participate in the event is only $19.00 and pre-registration is required.
Guests can choose from a Decorating 101 Session, a Family Fun class, a Mommy and Me or a Signature Girls Night Out. Special Back to School pricing of $19 is still in effect. The original pricing for the class is $49. Chef Ruby Davis, a leading Chef on the tour said, “Participants will get everything they need to decorate including 6 cupcakes, signature icing, a decorating kit to take home, and all the sprinkles and toppings their cupcakes can hold, there’s nothing like this!”
Gone Cupcaking! has successfully been held in several major cities such as Philadelphia, Baltimore, Savannah, Richmond, and Fort Lauderdale. The 2015 Tour will feature large-scale events in Premier Malls throughout the country.
