Cool Springs CarMax Making Great Way before Grand Opening

CarMax is already buying and selling cars, even before their announced Grand Opening on June 9th. The 8.5 acre lot is full of prime used cars with a few hard to find jewels waiting to be discovered. The energetic, smiling staff is ready to serve and help you find the ride you just can’t live without. The first car sale was June 6th, a nice Toyota Camry, and the location has already purchased two local vehicles.

President and CEO Tom Folliard along with top management christened the store during a soft opening today at 10:30 A.M. He spoke about the strong history of the company and the outlook for the next 4 years. “I think ours is the greatest retail growth story in America,” said Folliard. For eight years in a row CarMax has been on the Fortune List of Top 100 Companies To Work For, and the Cool Springs location at 4075 Mallory Lane off McEwen is no exception.

It’s a great location for the store and the CarMax Regional Offices are moving into the location as well, said Bill Myers, Regional Vice President. The Cool Springs location is the third of ten stores opening this year for the retailer and the third Nashville area location.
