A convicted felon with a violent history is out on bond after Franklin Police found him in possession of drugs and a gun, yesterday.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Cherokee Place after a citizen reported suspicious activity. Arriving officers found 21-year-old Jordan Thomas sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot at 2:15 Thursday morning. Thomas was in possession of marijuana and a loaded 9 mm handgun.
Charged with unlawful possession of a gun by a convicted felon and marijuana possession, Thomas is out of jail on the $10,000 bond set by the Magistrate. He is due in court at 1:00 pm on June 13.
Why such a small bond? Now he’s walking around mad and probably has another gun.
