The senior leadership team for Franklin’s Police department was joined recently by Chris Gentry. Police Chief David Rahinsky selected Gentry from a pool of 6 internal candidates who applied for the position. “I am proud to congratulate Chris, he is a talented individual whose skills will be put to good use,” said Chief Rahinsky.
This promotion will “help further the Franklin Police Department’s goal of providing professional, progressive, and responsive law enforcement services to a growing and dynamic City,” continued Rahinsky. The Department’s Command Staff is comprised of a Chief and three deputy chiefs, who each head a division of the department. The divisions are Administrative, Criminal Investigation and Operations. Their direction is funneled to Lieutenants and Sergeants that manage day-to-day efforts of our fine officers, detectives and civilian staff.
Service and protection of the more than 63,000 residents of Franklin is their calling.
