Community Raises Money with Eat & Jog Event

Typically, it’s not polite to eat and run but Nolensville community members did just that this past Saturday(May 17). They ate and ran to raise funds for the Nolensville Food Pantry.

Since the first Hoggin’ N’ Joggin’ event last year, the number of participants has doubled and new divisions were added this year for walkers, individual runners, and even a kids run. Way FM MC’ed the event and food was provided by McDougal’s Chicken, Martin’s BBQ Joint, Mama’s Java, and The Bekahry, all local eateries in the small town of Nolensville.

Funds raised by the race this year totaled $5,000 versus the $3,500 raised during the run’s first happening last year.
