The Transportation Management Authority is hosting two public meetings on Tuesday, April 28 on behalf of the Franklin Transit Authority to get feedback from community residents on what improvements can be made to ease growing traffic concerns in the Cool Springs/Franklin area.

The TMA will highlight findings and recommendations from a recent traffic study done by TranSystems, and the public will be asked to provide their feedback.

The first meeting will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with lunch available, and the second will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with refreshments available.  Both meetings will be held at One Franklin Park, a new Cool Springs development located at 6100 Tower Circle.

Comment cards for written statements will also be available. Anyone that prefers to make a paperless written statement can send an email to [email protected]. Comments also accepted by mail or in person at The TMA Group, 708 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064.

Persons with a disability or special needs, who require aids or services to participate at the meeting, may contact Mike Johnston at (615) 628-0260. If transportation is required for Franklin residents and employers, Transit on Demand (TODD) service is available. Reservations need to be made 48-hours in advance by calling (615) 628-0260.
