Columbia State’s Run Over?

Columbia State’s run in the NJCAA Mens Basketball Tournament ended in the second round Wednesday as the No. 18 Chargers fell to No. 2 Northwest Florida State 93-80.

T.J. Dunans and Jamonte Graham each scored 16 points for Columbia State, Graham adding a team-high four assists.

Jamontae Davis had a team-best eight rebounds.

Northwest Florida State and Columbia State were fairly evenly matched on the stat sheet, the Chargers shooting 45.7% from the field and the Raiders 45%.

The biggest difference came in free throw shooting. NFS shot 35-of-51 while Columbia State only managed 8-of-21.

Jalen Jackson had a game-high 27 points for the Raiders while teammate Benji Bell was close behind with 24.
