Everyone’s favorite ogre is hitting the stage this weekend. The Columbia State Community College commercial entertainment program will present its annual spring musical, “Shrek the Musical,” Friday, April 11th & Saturday, April 12th at the Williamson County Campus.
“Shrek the Musical will entertain guests of all ages,” said Cathy Hudnall, director and assistant professor of the commercial entertainment program. “We’ve got a great cast, and I’m excited to share this beloved fairy tale with the community.”
Show times and ticket prices are as follows:
Friday, April 11th, doors open at 6:30pm, show begins at 7:30pm
Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 3-10
Children can enjoy preshow activities in the lobby, with photo opportunities with cast members after the show
Saturday, April 12th, doors open at 6pm, show begins at 7:30pm
Saturday night is Dessert Theatre with dessert service beginning at 6:45pm
Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children ages 3-10.
Limited table seating is available for this performance.
To purchase tickets, call (615) 790-4400. Folks are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, especially for Saturday night’s Dessert Theatre. All children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite storybook character and bring a pillow so they can sit up front to watch the show.
