Columbia State gets commitment from Centennial’s Carder

Chase Carder, former outfielder from Centennial High School, made the announcement on Twitter this afternoon, that he will be continuing his baseball career at Columbia State Community College.

Chase attended the TopTenn Baseball Super Select Showcase in 2013 where they said he would be “a good centerfielder/leadoff type.”

The Chargers have a history of excellence in baseball and had a phenomenal 2014 season, reaching the JUCO College World Series. They finished 6th in the polls with a 46-13 record.

Speaking of the Chargers, we will have Columbia State head baseball coach, Mike Corn on our show Wednesday. He will be talking CSCC baseball and a little MLB now that we have reached the All-Star break.
