On Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 at 7:25 p.m. officers with Columbia Police Department’s Special Response Team successfully located and arrested 29-year-old Andrew Mark Love who was wanted by Columbia Police Department for 1st Degree Murder.
Officers located Love in the 1500 block of Nashville Highway (in Columbia, TN) as he was driving a vehicle.
The search for Love involved an extensive multi-agency law enforcement response with investigators, officers, and agents from Columbia Police Department, Maury County Sheriff’s Department, Spring Hill Police Department, Williamson County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department, Fairview Police Department, Dickson County Sheriff’s Department, Dickson Police Department, TN Bureau of Investigations, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The 1st Degree Murder charge was a result of the murder investigation initiated at about 11 a.m. that day when 24-year-old Jaylen Hassan was shot.
