Wednesday mornings’ ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd’ has ruffled a lot of local feathers. Wednesday’s show was essentially about colleges and the cost of attendance. After a caller named “Scott” called in, Cowherd proceeded on a rant, in which he referred to Middle Tennessee State University as a “nobody school,” a “trucking school” and went as far as to infer that no one would care “if they [MTSU football team] fell off the face of the earth” and that MTSU should not have a football team because of who they play.
No response has come from FOX Sports on the rant. Cowherd left ESPN after insulting the Dominican nation on that network’s station.
MTSU Student body has taken to Twitte , with support of their school and derision of Cowherd.
