Every year, usually in early September, the Home Decorating and Remodeling Show visits Nashville. The show compiles local and distant companies all under one roof at Nashville’s Music City Center, for attendees to browse and see up close, the latest products available for home interiors and exteriors. Classic Doors, Inc. an annual participant for the past 10 years, represented their most popular door designs. While most of the doors were setup in circular rounds, almost as if you were flipping through the pages of a book, these stationary displays showcased the beautiful solid mahogany doors for local and distant Nashvillians to see the top-notch quality of their products.
While people like myself ogled at all the craftsmanship on the doors that combined wood structure with beautifully designed and decorated glass and metal detail finishes, others were more interested in the more simplistic, but equally as beautiful entry doors that fit more traditional styles. Personally, I’m a sucker for the doors with the metal detail or the ultra-modern look. Although they would never go with my current house, there is something about those styles that just speak to the house decorator in me.
I talked a few minutes with Ray Novelly, admittedly distracting him from educating attendees visiting his exhibit, about the most popular, trending styles that he is seeing around Nashville. While the traditional styles are always a crowd favorite with the typical rail and stile panel designs, Nashville with their unique base of older homes going through remodeling over the last several years has brought a focus to the quality designed Craftsman style doors.
While I’ve written before about front door styles and bringing curb appeal to your house, I can never over-exaggerate the benefits that come with a beautifully designed front door that highlights the features of your house nor can I under exaggerate the pleasant, comforting feel of a solid hardwood door that invites you into the rest of your home.
Whether you have just moved into your house, been there for a while, or need a new door for an update to sell your home, the experts at Classic Doors will guide you through the whole process. if you want a top quality, hardwood door, visit Classic Doors in Nashville visit their website.
