City of Brentwood Offers Annual Spring Cleanup Dates

Brentwood Spring Cleanup

With the beginning of spring comes spring cleaning and the Brentwood Public Works Department is offering its annual Spring Cleanup to help. Residents will have the opportunity to bring items too large for regular trash pickup for disposal on the following three Saturdays this month from 8 am – 4 pm:

April 20 Safety Center East (1300 Sunset Road)

April 27 Granny White Park

Some examples of acceptable items include appliances, furniture, luggage, and exercise equipment. A more extensive list of acceptable and unacceptable items is available on our website.

Items not accepted include liquids, sprays, paints, batteries, tires or wood chippings. However, household hazardous waste items can be taken to the annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, May 4 from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Complex located at 1320 West Main Street in Franklin. Batteries, oil, paint, antifreeze and electronic waste are accepted year-round at the Franklin Solid Waste Station located at 417 Century Court, Franklin.

To recycle items, please visit the Wilson Pike Recycle Drop-Off Center located next to Brentwood Fire Station #2, 1301 Wilson Pike open 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. most days.

Remember to “LOCK DOWN YOUR LOAD” and tarp your pickup trucks and trailers when transporting trash and recycling. Tennessee has a Tarp Law.
