BGA kicker Jack Sauder got the Wildcats within 24-17 with a 26-yard field goal with 4:40 left in the third quarter.
Sauder’s 42-yard field goal with 8:46 to play got BGA within four. But CPA running back Sam West’s 7-yard run put the Lions up 31-20 with 3:59 to play.
Semptimphelter hit Garnett Hollis with a 10-yard scoring strike, with Sauder’s point-after giving the Wildcats a 7-0 lead with 6:53 left in the first quarter.
But CPA scored the game’s next three touchdowns, two on touchdown passes from Ryan Eledge.
Semptimphelter then hit Reed for a 66-yard score, before CPA’s John Michael hit a field goal on the last play of the half for a 24-14 lead.
