Tuesday Spring Hill Police Officers arrested members of a Chattanooga-based check fraud ring who had been operating across the state.
After a local bank recognized something was not right, they called the SHPD, who pulled over the group on Main Street.
Lt. Justin Whitwell, public information officer for the SHPD, said that suspects are being held and questioned as the investigation continues.
“One person was arrested so far and more probably to come,” he said. “Charges are pending.”
