Chase Goehring Moves on to Semi-Final Round of America’s Got Talent

On Tuesday night, Chase Goehring, performed for the live edition of America’s Got Talent. Previously, Goehring had received the “golden buzzer” by judge DJ Khaled which automatically placed him in the live rounds.

During his send-off party in Nolensville earlier in the month, Chase hinted to us that he would continue performing original songs as he had been during the reality competition and he did just that. On Tuesday, he performed an original song about heartbreak. At the end of the performance, three out of the four judges gave Chase a standing ovation. Watch his performance below:

The live results show took place on Wednesday night. Acts were called to the stage in pairs where they learned whether or not they would move on to the semi-finals. Host of AGT Tyra Banks announced that Chase would move on to the semi-final round, along with Mike Yung, a singer who became internet famous in 2016, when a video of him performing “Unchained Melody” in a New York subway went viral.

“This is so incredible, Mike is so talented, this is so incredible,” said Goehring of moving on in the competition.

America’s Got Talent returns on Tuesday, September 5 which will be the first semi-final show.
