It’s a day full of music on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Boyd Mill Farm for the 15th annual Blackberry Jam Music Festival, presented by Scout’s Pub. Blackberry Jam brings a talented, diverse line-up of musicians and our community together, and all for a great cause. This year’s Jam benefits Hard Bargain Association.
This year’s headliner is Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist and Hall of Fame legend Charlie McCoy, noted for his harmonica skills.
Charlie has performed with musicians including Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Chet Atkins, Waylon Jennings and Loretta Lynn.
Hosted by Reckless Johnny Wales, 12 acts will perform throughout the day starting at noon, with the amazing McCrary Sisters taking the porch stage at 7:15 p before Charlie and his friends end the show. See the full artist roster here.
In addition, there will also be a special Children’s Concert from noon-2 p. Music starts from the porch stage with a children’s program at noon and continues throughout the afternoon and evening until 10 p.
Blankets, lawn chairs, beverages in ice chests and well-mannered dogs on leashes are welcomed. A variety of food trucks and dessert carts will be on site ready to serve you, anchored by Scout’s Pub.
