Long ball leads Chargers past Cleveland State

With a pair of round trippers from the Charger bats on Friday afternoon, Columbia State took game one over Cleveland State 4-1.

Josh Wilson launched one out of the park in the top of the second to get the scoring going for CSCC. Then, in the following inning, Tyler Fuller left the yard. Both were solo shots.

Riley Delgaldo and Ronnie Jebavy added RBI’s to round out the scoring for the Chargers.

Cody Puckett went seven and a third allowing just one earned run and striking out four, for the win.

These two teams will be at Cleveland State again for a double-header tomorrow, starting at noon.
