The Centennial Cougars (6-1, 4-0) kept rolling Friday at Clarksville (2-5, 1-3).

With a 31-7 win, the Cougars still sit atop the Region 7-5A standings alongside Henry County at 4-0. That makes 11-straight region wins for Centennial dating back to last season.

The Cougar defense was the driving force in the game. Clarksville only scored once in the game, and their seven points lowers Centennial’s average points given up to opponents to 15.

CHS returns home in Week 8 to square off against region rival Brentwood. The Bruins (4-3, 3-1) have rattled off three wins in a row and have scored over 40 points in all three games.
