Cane Ridge’s Devon Starling ran for 309 yards and two touchdowns, as the Ravens improved to 4-0 by blasting Centennial, 57-26.
Cane Ridge led 28-7 with 2:54 to play in the second quarter when the game was delayed due to lightning. That was the score at half; it soon went up by 28 when Jacquez Norman ran 95 yards for a score just 2:27 into the second half.
Norman also ran for 198 yards, as the Ravens put up a staggering 719 yards of offense.
Centennial’ quarterback Grayson Marcel and Ashari Haynesworth accounted for the Cougars’ only first-half touchdown when the two hooked up on a 30-yard scoring pass.
Haynesworth had six catches for 112 yards, and Jariel Wilson ran nine times for 58 yards and two touchdowns.
Centennial (1-3) has its homecoming against Dickson County next week.
