Ranker.com has published an interesting article that has received a lot of attention lately. They asked their readers ‘which celebrity would you actually vote for if they ran for President?’ Readers can add names to the list and vote for their favorite.
As of the writing of this article, over 100 celebrities are on the list and talk show host, Ellen Degeneres is ranked #1. Morgan Freeman is close behind Degeneres, ranked #2, Leonardo DiCaprio, President Barack Obama and Will Smith round out the top 5 (ranked #3-5, respectively).

Taylor Swift #26
A known celebrity becoming a President is not outside the realm of possibility, as Ranker.com points out:
“If you can remember all the way back to Kanye West’s speech at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, you may remember that he closed by saying that he’ll be running for president in 2020. If he actually runs, it’s going to be highly entertaining (just think of the debates).”
Although he was a businessman before he became a reality star, Donald Trump is seen as a celebrity to many (currently, he is ranked 42nd).
