Sister Cities of Franklin and Williamson County has expanded their fifth annual Celebration of Nations event. O’More College of Design is the setting for nine hours of multi-cultural performances including dancing, music, and singing plus food trucks. International vendors will also be on hand selling their wares.
The pre-event fund raiser will be held on Thursday, September 27th from 6-9 P.M. This event features recording artist Phil Keaggy, dinner from Porta Via restaurant and wine from Del Rio Wine and Spirits. Sister Cities will benefit from ticket sales of $35 each or $60 for a couple. You can secure a table for 8 people for only $200.
The main event will be from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M. at the campus on South Margin this Saturday. “This event has really grown over the last five years,” said Sister Cities President, Patricia Kriebel. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience other cultures through music, dance, food and friendship.
We’re really excited about the pre-event fundraiser with Phil Keaggy and appreciate him donating his time to help Sister Cities.” Come out and enjoy a day of cultural sharing.
