Franklin Police are hoping that the public can help identify two car thieves. This June 10 video shows a suspect enter an unlocked GMC in this Fieldstone Farms driveway. Once inside, the crook stole a key fob to a BMW that was parked nearby, and then stole that car.
The stolen BMW was later found abandoned near Highway 96E, but the unidentified suspect remains at large. Near the end of this video, another suspect comes into frame as he approaches a second vehicle parked in the driveway.
Franklin Police want to remind residents of the importance of locking their car doors, every night, as part of the #9pmRoutine.

The GMC in this video is NOT the GMC that the BMW fob was stolen out of. This white GMC is a few doors down from another house with another black GMC, and the black GMC is where the BMW fob was lifted. (I’m the owner of the BMW).
These guys were on a little door-to-door crime spree.
