Candy Store Closes in Downtown Franklin

Seersucker now Habit Boutique store

Seersucker Candy Company in downtown Franklin has abruptly closed. The handcrafted chocolate company was located next door to the now shuttered Jamba Juice. Seersucker Candy Company is the sister company of Olive and Sinclair.

Franklin resident, Scott Witherow opened Seersucker Candy Company in Franklin in February 2016. The Franklin location was a storefront for the brand as its creations were manufactured at the Olive and Sinclair location in East Nashville.  Seersucker Candy

On the Seersucker Candy website, it still shows the West Main address in Franklin with no explanation or news of the closing. We have reached out to Seersucker for a statement but have not received one at this time.

There is currently a sign on the door to Seersucker Candy that says “coming soon Habit Boutique.”

According to an Instagram post, Habit Boutique, a women’s clothing and accessories store, will open on October 2 with a grand opening to take place on October 12th from 4 pm – 6 pm.

This is the second location for Habit Boutique, their first location in Nashville is located on Bandywood Drive.
