This week, we stopped by to talk with Jordan Winn, one of the partners in Moe’s Original BBQ in Cool Springs.
Jordan shared with us how the BBQ joint got its name, why you should try Alabama BBQ and the secret ingredient they use in their BBQ sauce.
If you’ve never tried the white sauce, an Alabama BBQ tradition, then you have to head over to Moe’s Original BBQ. Their menu boasts Bama-style pulled pork, ribs, wings, turkey and chicken smoked over hardwood served with two unique sauces in addition to Catfish and a Shrimp Moe-Boy sandwich. Additionally, six to eight traditional Southern sides and tasty desserts are served fresh daily from recipes passed down for generations.
Currently, there are two locations of Moe’s Original BBQ in Williamson County -9050 Carothers Parkway and 901 Columbia Avenue in Franklin.
After success in Cool Springs which opened in 2014, partners Alston Noah, Jordan Winn and Andrew Clark along with Will Strain, all friends who met in Alabama, brought the Southern Soul Food Revival to Downtown Franklin.
