California Closets of Middle Tennessee is partnering with Nashville’s Dress for Success in hosting the Fill the Closet event at the newly remodeled California Closets showroom at 420 Cool Springs Blvd.
Fill the Closet, slated for Feb. 18 at 5 p.m., is part party, part philanthropy, with guests invited to bring a new or gently used handbag or accessory to donate to Dress for Success. For every item donated, guests will be entered to win a Kate Spade handbag valued at $200 from Belk at CoolSprings Galleria and a Frye handbag, valued at $300 by Dillard’s at the Mall at Green Hills.
The evening will begin by allowing guests to browse through beautiful newly designed closets, a hip man cave of a garage and modern, space-saving built-in office options at the California Closets showroom. Designers will be on hand to share tips on creating organized, beautiful closets or storage spaces.
The latest spring accessories from Belk and Dillard’s will be scattered throughout the showroom, as will sips and nibbles.
Brentwood resident and California Closet owner Kurt Schusterman and LaRhonda Magras with Dress for Success will be on hand to discuss the partnership and how Dress for Success empowers women in the community.
“Who doesn’t secretly want to peek inside a luxurious, over-the-top closet? The showroom is designed so that you can walk through several jaw dropping closets, a tricked out garage and more. But even more exciting to me, is the chance to partner with Dress for Success on this event,” explains Schusterman.
Cathi Aycock, Style Editor of Style Home Page, will be on hand to host the event with Schusterman. Space is limited at the event and guests are asked to RSVP at www.californiaclosetstn.eventbrite.com. There is no charge for the event.
