buybuy BABY, a subsidiary of Bed Bath and Beyond, will occupy the former location of Staples in Franklin. We spoke to Leah Drill, Public Relations for Bed Bath and Beyond who told us “As we continue to grow and open stores, we are always looking for new locations where we will be able to offer our new customers the broad assortment and outstanding customer service that is buybuy BABY. Franklin is such a location and we are very excited to be coming there.”
We originally reported the new Franklin location would open in Spring of 2016; however, the new location is still under construction. The new location will be approximately 24,000 square feet and due to construction delays, the opening date has been pushed back to July 2016, said a representative for buybuy BABY. We have no further information at this time, but keep checking back here for more updates.
