Bryan White to Perform Next Spring for DUI Court Foundation

The DUI Court Foundation of Williamson County garnered $15,000 from last year’s “Take the Cake” charity auction and presented a check to General Sessions Judge Denise Andre.

The Foundation’s next fundraising event will be the “Take the Cake” Charity Auction and Celebrity Concert on March 30, 2017, at the historic Franklin Theater. Country music star Bryan White will be the featured performer. The event kicks off at 7 p.m.

The DUI Court is available to Williamson County residents who are charged with a 2nd or 3rd DUI. The yearlong, three-phase program involves mandated jail time followed by mandatory weekly treatment appointments, twice-weekly drug tests and attendance at recovery meetings three times a week.
Since it’s founding in 2010, 85 percent of the participants have successfully completed the program.
