Brentwood quarterback Carson Shacklett threw for four touchdowns, as the Bruins routed Stewart’s Creek, 42-7, at home on Friday.

Shacklett was 10-of-11 for 223 yards, and threw all four scores in the first half.

After hitting Avery Williams for the first of two scores, Shacklett hit Chase Bishop with a 51-yard pass to extend Brentwood’s first-half lead to 14-0.

Shacklett connected with Grant Yocum for a 21-yard touchdown later in the half. The lead stayed at 20-0 after the extra point was blocked.

Williams had two receptions for 65 yards, and Bishop caught two for 68.

Brentwood linebacker C.J. Grissim had seven tackles, as the Bruins held the Red Hawks to 132 total yards. Mack Anderton had two stops. both for loss.

Kaden Dreier added a third-quarter scoring throw to Brent Klingensmith.

Brentwood hosts Ravenwood next week, while Stewart’s Creek travels to Cane Ridge.
