Indy vs Brentwood

Brentwood plays its third straight home game on Friday.

The Bruins (1-3, 1-0 in Region 7-5A) host new district opponent Dickson County.

Brentwood Looking for Win No. 2

Dickson (2-2, 0-1) may have the better record but Brentwood sits above it in district standings.

The Bruins can increase that lead and get to a game within .500 for the season with a win.

After losing back- to-back to Independence and Ravenwood to start the year, Brentwood has improved. They got their first win two weeks ago against district foe Rossview, scoring a season high 24 points and allowing a season low 6.

Then last week when former district rival Franklin came to visit things went south in the bad weather.

The teams combined for 6 turnovers, and both struggled on offense.

Brentwood will definitely focus on protecting the ball this week.

Dickson county has the highest scoring offense in the district, averaging 28.5 points per game. Thought it also allows the most point in the district on defense, at 30 per game.

Brentwood is averaging 17.7 points per game on offense- about middle of the pack in the district; but it is toward the bottom on defense, with teams scoring on average about 26 pouts per contest.

The leaders on offense for Brentwood are:

-Quarterback Carson Croy, with 48 for 86 passing for 530 yards, 2 TDs and 2 INTs.

-Running Back/Receiver John Robertson with 23 catches for 266 yards and 2 TDs, and 30 rushes for 166 yards.

-Running back Ahmad Arnold, 63 rushes for 301 yards and 3 TDs
