Twenty-nine high school volleyball teams, including all ten from Williamson County, held a scrimmage day last Saturday at the 23rd Brentwood Volleyball Blastoff at the A-Game Sportsplex in Cool Springs.

Each team played five scrimmages and the event was a whirlwind, lasting from 8 am – 8 pm on 12 courts of non-stop action.

The Brentwood Blastoff was a chance for fine-tuning both the varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams, mainly to fine tune starting lineups before the start of the regular season.

We managed to get a sneak peek at several Williamson County teams including Franklin High School, Brentwood High School, Ensworth High School, Father Ryan High School and Independence High School. Check out the video above for highlights.
