The Expert Psychological StagerTM course is one of only four training programs to have earned accreditation from the trade association for professional home stagers.
Owned by local Nashvillian, Kristie Barnett of The Decorologist®, the three-day Expert Psychological StagerTM course was recently approved for RESA® accreditation. RESA® is a non-profit trade association for home stagers and the accrediting agency for the home staging industry. Accredited training providers have been reviewed in all areas and meet or exceed accreditation standards.
Barnett has trained over 150 stagers since 2014. Psychological StagingTM is a unique scientific system of real estate staging that focuses on the psychological processes of buyer and seller. Based on the science of visual perception and emotional attachment, its application maximizes the selling potential for properties in a way that benefits sellers and real estate professionals. This systematic and effective staging method provides the most highly-specific training in furniture/décor arrangement and paint color in the home staging industry, and has made Kristie Barnett of The Decorologist® one of the most well-known staging experts in the country. The EPSTM course includes lecture, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and real life staging experience in a listed home. In addition, it includes ongoing mentoring, support, and referrals after graduation.
