Tim Kohler, owner of Brentwood steak and seafood restaurant Ludlow & Prime, is bringing a new restaurant concept to Nashville, reports Eater Nashville.
Opening in the former 12 South restaurant The Flipside, Kohler plans to open Ludlow’s Gumbo Bar & Steak.
Kohler shared with Eater the new concept will serve affordable food in a casual atmosphere. In addition to gumbo, there will also be a steak option.
Ludlow’s Gumbo Bar is expected to open sometime in October.
Kohler opened Ludlow & Prime in the Brentwood Place Shopping Center, located at 330 Franklin Road, in 2017. The space was previously Cross Corner Bar & Grill. Ludlow & Prime is open six days a week.
