The Brentwood Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the SunTrust Bank branch located at 201 Franklin Road. The incident was reported at approximately 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 1st. A male suspect who did not display a weapon, but threatened that he was armed, robbed a bank employee and fled the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of currency. The suspect was last seen on foot running into the nearby parking garage.
Suspect Information:
Male/Black 6’0”, thin build, 20 to 30 years old with short cropped hair.
The suspect was wearing a black and gray “hoodie” type sweatshirt, jeans and black gloves. At the time of the robbery the suspect had the hood over his head and was wearing a blue bandanna over his face. No vehicle was seen by witnesses.
