Brentwood Planning Commission to Vote on Kroger Superstore

The Brentwood Planning Commission will vote to approve a 90,000 square foot Kroger superstore Monday night. The grocery story is set to remodel the space used by Harris Teeter in Peartree Village.

Earlier this year, Harris Teeter closed their doors after they were purchased by Kroger. The merger transaction between the two companies was completed on January 28, 2014.

If approved the new Kroger location will encompass the space used by Office Max and Leslie Pool Supply.

In reaching out to Kroger’s media relations spokesperson Melissa Eads, shewould only comment, “Still a lot of details to be finalized now. Can tell you that we will be remodeling the old Harris Teeter site in Brentwood and moving from our current location in Brentwood into that site sometime next Spring.”
